It's the most amazing thing I've ever been blessed to do. I didn't do it to prove anything. I did it because I knew it was best for my body and my baby. And let me say, now that I've done it twice, I feel that way even more. I'd love to talk to you more on the subject. Facebook! :) I'll message you, if you like.Torihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09922033404830258030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-843388454681967280.post-31127788180270986272012-05-17T12:30:03.413-05:002012-05-17T12:30:03.413-05:00Hey tori, i started a blog. this is Krista Smith w...Hey tori, i started a blog. this is Krista Smith who commented above :)A Young Motherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08668228949339459386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-843388454681967280.post-57116226793625343722012-05-17T09:12:16.649-05:002012-05-17T09:12:16.649-05:00Wow. Tori,
I just read this blog, as well as the one about your kids (found the link on your facebook) and this is making me consider two things- My doctor im with, and if i want to do a natural/water birth.

Ive always loved the thought, but never thought i was strong enough. And i am a young mom (me-18 hubby 20) and i have already felt belittled by one Dr, and my husband WAS by another at the same office. I'm praying God gives us wisdom, as i am already 20 weeks along. Please keep us in your prayers- My hubby might be getting transferred to an army job in Georgia before the baby is born...And if that happens, i will automatically HAVE to find a new Dr. :) thanks for sharing this with us tori. I may start up my own blog like this-- very special :)
-kristaKrista Smithnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-843388454681967280.post-47171065513312907032010-09-23T17:15:11.095-05:002010-09-23T17:15:11.095-05:00LOL, I know what you mean about strange things sca...LOL, I know what you mean about strange things scaring/bothering you while in labor...it's funny the places our minds go during something like that!!

Great story!Muthering Heightshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06660310558298459636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-843388454681967280.post-20586223289027950382010-08-15T15:15:18.593-05:002010-08-15T15:15:18.593-05:00Cassie, nice to "meet" you. BAhaaahh :)
It was neat that I was able to birth with two different midwives there. And be able to feel the emotions that each of them posessed. Gloria was peaceful and Lindsay was strong. I was so glad that I found them! Thank God he provided with thier information at 29 wks. I have a feeling my birth wouldn't have turned out so well, if I had stayed with the Dr. I was with in the beginning.Torihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09922033404830258030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-843388454681967280.post-5235523425257798562010-08-09T22:37:53.708-05:002010-08-09T22:37:53.708-05:00I just wanted to say what a beautiful story this i...I just wanted to say what a beautiful story this is. I found you through the UNT midwives facebook page. I, too, delivered with their practice (March 2010), arriving at Harris at 7cm and I concur that has to be THE bumpiest road in the world!! My first baby was an emergency c-section (placental abruption) with Lindsay when she was at Baylor Dallas, so the ability to actually experience birth the second time with my VBAC was incredible. You capture the emotions so well- especially the ocean analogy. Love it. Thanks for sharing! AMAZING!! God is so good. There is little else that makes me so in awe of God, so beyond amazed, and so worshipful than the miracle of birth. I have done it four times and it NEVER loses it's awe. Never ever. Our labor and deliveries are very different in comparison... but the miracle is the same.Wendi@EveryDayMiracleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02726898493426028276noreply@blogger.com
